How are you good people, am hoping you had an awesome weekend. Mine was quite a mixture of sorts but yesterday crowned my weekend up. I met my gals and its never anything short of amaze balls when we get to catch up and all esp since one of us just jetted back into the country from abroad.
I decided to do a lil bit of everything, color, demin, the sweater, nautical stripes.....
I love this tangerine capris.....and I paired em with this turqoise knit sweater that is quite my fave knit oflate
I had a nautical hi-low stripped shirt inside and it was quite chillly in the evening so the sweater came in handy and I totally forgot to take it off as i was taking the pics. I then added a neon pink scarf to add some color and ummmph to it.
And finally my geeks and a janelle monae inspired hairstyle, then my nude and white sling backs. And oh....not forgetting the teal purse.
My sweater is baggy and it looked funny when i tucked it in, but i did not want to belt it up so i added a brooch at the back.

Hi y'all feels like a minute but got down with a bout of flu last week and it was the worst i have ever had. But am fine and am believing you to be fab too.
Well i finally got to do my hair and i went for something very simple that i can play around with.
I got this denim shirt dress in Machakos as i was visiting home a few weeks ago and i could not wait to dress it up. There are countless ways to wear this dress and i will break it down for you as time goes by.
I wore it simply just like a dress, buttoned it up and added a gold collar necklace to spruce up the outfit
I added a pop of color with the tangerine tassel earrings and held my hair up in a side pony and roped it up.
Finished it off with these bronze peep toe ankle boots from chinese laundry with ruffles and carried a brown leather bag

Oh my its been rainy chaos offlate and the cold is not making the blues better. Well i decided to show you how to look stylish in this cold weather. Starting up is DRESSING THE SWEATER. You can add a sweater to your ensemble and loook really chic in it. Take a look how i did it:
I paired up this navy blue high low sweater with this DIY turqoise green high waist trouser skirt. Initially it was a vintage dress but i decided to cut of the top and make it a skirt and voila! i came up with this skirt.
I had a hot pink vest inside since it was really off shoulder and i needed a popping color to add some ummph to it.
A slit always gives some sexy vibe to any skirt and i loved the one on this skirt, especially because i could walk in this pencil one.
Remember to always add some hot heels when u are wearing such skirts because you can end up looking frumpy in flats especially for the pint sized gals like yours truly here.
Remember to over accessorise your sweater. Add as much bling as you can
And finally i got this vintage Chloe bag. I so love the purple with the gold details then this gold peep toe platforms.

This is one of my favorite formal looks that i have done so far. I have an obsession for animal print and my friends can attest to that. So this skirt was a great addition to my closet. At first i had planned it to be part of a party ensemble but since i have quite out of the party scene for a while, i decided to do a day outfit with it
I paired it up with this green tie neck blouse, i really liked the color contrast so i added the white blazer.
I added the blazer to invoke some seriousness to the outfit and maintain a serious but sexy look
I threw in a crimson red envelope clutch and matching eaarings to add a pop of color to the outfit. Then finished it off with a bold lip.
Not forgetting the baby pink atmosphere pumps.
I did some few pics without the jacket and neverthelessless liked it too

Its been really hot of late so yesterday i decided to pull a very relaxed summer look. I pulled out this sleeveless cropped denim shirt with two tails at the front meant for tying.
I paired it up with this green sheer maxi, i decide to give an ooomph to it so i cut the slit high up to my knees
I reallly love this multicolored lesso head scarf and i tied a bow to it then my favorite kitenge earrings of all time from Bridgets collection.
Finished it off with these fuschia slingbacks and the black straw basket.

Sup'  dolls, i believe you are having a superb week. Yesterday i went for the K.U culture week opening and this is what i wore
I am still a huge fan of nautical stripes as they tend to elongate my torso when worn as a shirt or blouse, so i got two of these sometime last week. I went for the button up shirt look  and tucked into the chinos
What i loved the most about this shirt is the lace detail at the back...i find it so demure
I rolled up the chinos and wore this woven yellow peep toes from Belluci
I accessorised the shirt with a golden statement bib necklace, then added the red skinny belt for  the final touch of the chinos. Then added the floral print inspired purse and i was ready for a sunny summer day out.

Hello there fashion bunnies...been a minute right? Well i had computer troubles, it was really acting up but i managed to get it back to normal. Here's an outfit i did last week on a not so official day out in town and i had to drag my good pal paul to take the pictures.
I got both the pants and blouse while thrifting in Machakos  in  a recent visit home. I L.O.V.E the oversize turqoise printed blouse...its soo vintagey, the combo was automatic for my eye and i knew thats exactly how i wanted to wear the outfit. The red highwasted pants seemed to just fit like a glove and the wide legged was like such a plus.
I ofcourse paired it up with my bright colored court shoes and my outfit was officially colour blocked
I kept my accessories very minimal, just threw in a pair of cobalt blue pearls, a turqoise green ring and my vintage chanel black purse.

Hello fashion rangers, one more day to go and its the weekend....woop woop i can hardly wait. I have been doing lots of girly looks lately so this day, i decided to get in touch with my eclectic side of style.  Its a look i have done before sometime last year when the boyfriend
trousers were so in trend.... but well...fashion is timeless.
Lets get to the dish on my outfit. Am not really a denim jeans girl....i own like 3 pairs, this one was a gift from my cousin who got it from Italy its a united colors of benetton brand. She didn't know what to do with it and i was glad to show her how to wear it. As is the case with boyfriend jeans, i rolled them up to form a cuff upto my ankles and they should fit through the hips and thighs. Since my jeans were a lil' snug, i went for an oversize classic white boyfriend shirt....then i rolled them sleeves up to give a more relaxed yet feminine feeling away from the masculinity of the whole oufit.
I added a Moschino belt to give a touch of casualness to the jeans, then a pop of color with my Aldo hot pink pumps and finished it off with a vintage black chain bag i got from my mums 80's closet. Take a look i accessorised the bag with a pinch of scarf and tied to form a bow on it. I went for a Janelle monae hairstyle and rolled my braids to a turban like style

Hey there fashionettes, a new week, a new day, i gotta spring to my step this monday.....well the weather is amaze.... its a 'moanday' but its bright, sunny and lovely. What other better way to get through than to get inspired. This is one of my most favourite looks todate. I grabbed these pants at my thrifting sessions, and with a squeal of joy  i could not believe my luck. I had been looking for such a unique pair everywhere, they are absolutely stunning. They were a perfect fit- they have to be worn a size up so as not to be clingy but just flowy and easy breezy. The way they billow as you walk... I felt like Michelle Pfieffer in
Scarface.

Palazzo pants add dramatic style to your wardrobe. Flowing wide-leg design gives you a fashion-forward look that's easy to wear. I wore this outfit for a business meeting then later on a day with my lovely cousins. They are comfy and flow nicely while also looking professional, which makes them great for days in the office. The green tie neck blouse brought  some seriousness to the outfit without making it too casual. I wanted to avoid being drammatic so i added nautical striped button earrings to the look and baby pink heels then a pop of color with the red and gold buckle.
The channel bag was a total steal and am so in love with it, you can dress it up or down to the office or just an everyday bag. I got the pants and blouse in machakos (yea u heard me).
The pleated accents add a sophisticated touch to the pants. Make sure the high rise sits on the natural waistline for a classic silhoutte

Sup fashionistas..... i believe you are having an awesome week. I got a new outfit for y'all....i wore this for sunday brunch with the gals, the sun was out and what better way to wear a simple summer outfit. I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman, which is quite rare for me coz i don't do alot of skirts but this was too pretty to ignore....the color and the pleats were a plus and i was breezing along the streets of Nairobi.
I paired it with a tangerine blouse with tiered off-white detail and a flowered print 80's inspired print clutch, the plum belt...well you have seen it before and i totally love it especially the buckle
I have had the skirt for a while now....i got it in Machakos (my home town) but this is my favourite combo i did with it. I did the nude and white double sole sling backs to break off the color so as not to compete with the outfit.

MY ACCESSORIES:
Cobalt blue button chandelier earrings, 80's flower print clutch, cocktail ring, citrus orange hair bow and my lovely  nude and white double sole shoes
