Of late i have been spotting these button up shirts and aint getting obcessed with them. But aren't they just off the hook
Well it not everyday you catch me in flatties but a gal gots to give them mean heels a break sometimes. I totally like these pointed brown patent ones  especially when am out and about or running errands and want to look chic.
By now u must know how i love animal prints, this one was sheer and quite subtle than most i usually do. I paired it with these high waisted woolen shorts and added this butterfly cobalt blue stretch belt.
I dressed up the shirt with this multi colored bib necklace to add a pop of color to the outfit and finally carried my croc skin leather bag. Oh and my geeks for the definition of the geeky look i was goin for.
The flatties have a distressed bronze tip

This is one of my favorite formal looks that i have done so far. I have an obsession for animal print and my friends can attest to that. So this skirt was a great addition to my closet. At first i had planned it to be part of a party ensemble but since i have quite out of the party scene for a while, i decided to do a day outfit with it
I paired it up with this green tie neck blouse, i really liked the color contrast so i added the white blazer.
I added the blazer to invoke some seriousness to the outfit and maintain a serious but sexy look
I threw in a crimson red envelope clutch and matching eaarings to add a pop of color to the outfit. Then finished it off with a bold lip.
Not forgetting the baby pink atmosphere pumps.
I did some few pics without the jacket and neverthelessless liked it too

This oufit screams out girly in not so many words. The sun was scorching as early as 8 a.m so i decided to go flirty in this A- line mini
I paired it up with this sheer zebra print blouse and accessorised it with a cobalt blue collar necklace
I'm finding myself quite attracted to turqoise green offlate and i tend to but get off by getting so much stuff in that color. I will just go ahead and declare it my 2012 obcession color.
Finally....i wore this strappy off white with leopard print platforms for a more relaxed look to the outfit and carried a brown crocodile skin bag.

Hello there fashion bunnies...been a minute right? Well i had computer troubles, it was really acting up but i managed to get it back to normal. Here's an outfit i did last week on a not so official day out in town and i had to drag my good pal paul to take the pictures.
I got both the pants and blouse while thrifting in Machakos  in  a recent visit home. I L.O.V.E the oversize turqoise printed blouse...its soo vintagey, the combo was automatic for my eye and i knew thats exactly how i wanted to wear the outfit. The red highwasted pants seemed to just fit like a glove and the wide legged was like such a plus.
I ofcourse paired it up with my bright colored court shoes and my outfit was officially colour blocked
I kept my accessories very minimal, just threw in a pair of cobalt blue pearls, a turqoise green ring and my vintage chanel black purse.

Sup fashionistas..... i believe you are having an awesome week. I got a new outfit for y'all....i wore this for sunday brunch with the gals, the sun was out and what better way to wear a simple summer outfit. I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman, which is quite rare for me coz i don't do alot of skirts but this was too pretty to ignore....the color and the pleats were a plus and i was breezing along the streets of Nairobi.
I paired it with a tangerine blouse with tiered off-white detail and a flowered print 80's inspired print clutch, the plum belt...well you have seen it before and i totally love it especially the buckle
I have had the skirt for a while now....i got it in Machakos (my home town) but this is my favourite combo i did with it. I did the nude and white double sole sling backs to break off the color so as not to compete with the outfit.

MY ACCESSORIES:
Cobalt blue button chandelier earrings, 80's flower print clutch, cocktail ring, citrus orange hair bow and my lovely  nude and white double sole shoes

I wore this outfit a while ago for the Imani Fashion Festival and i thought i should share the pics. Well am in love with pallazo pants, they fun and flirty and can be dressed down or up. I paired it up with a leopard print sheer blouse, a slim blue belt and matching double sole heels. The purse, well this was a steal and the print is so tribal and goes with any summer day outfit. I had my natural hair on, which is quite rare for me.....i did a bun and used my DIY lesso bow to hold it and finished it off with minimal accessories.....yellow loops, beaded bracelet(well its a neck piece but i prefer wrapping it in as a bracelet)

Pushing fashion to the limit is not for everyone, but if you eagerly embrace bright colours, big florals and bold graphics, then you can play around with the colors and have fun while at it. But i gotta warn you....this is a guarantee attention getter but it still makes you stand out and different in a good way.
I got this shirt dress while thrifting and i fell in love with the colors and print..i paired it up with magenta tights rather than the typical black. For an oufit like this, accessories must take a back seat so i kept it minimal with my yellow hoops, animal print geeks and my lace open toe ankle boots

The bag is a vintage from my mum's closet......The whole outfit is inspired by a passion for retro.

MY TIP:

Startling visuals are most flattering in a silhoutte with a relaxed not tight fit.

A bold lip color is welcome but nude is nice too just like i did

I wore this look for a sunny out and about day, well its been really cold lately and the sun magically decided to appear so was really excited to try it (read; it was the first time i wore these pants). when i got them i had planned to have them adjusted to fit a high waist look, but when i tried them on i loved the slouchy style and with a fitted white tank i was ready to roll.
I decided to break the colors by adding an animal print scarf, the green skinny belt and my table cloth red and white heels and my fave straw hat to give a bohemian feeling

 MY TIP:
  • Roll them pants up and wear them loose but not baggy since they are not boyfriend pants
  • Opt for flat brogues for a boyish vibe or vamp it up with sexy heels just like i did.
