Hi y'all feels like a minute but got down with a bout of flu last week and it was the worst i have ever had. But am fine and am believing you to be fab too. Well i finally got to do my hair and i went for something very simple that i can play around with. I got this denim shirt dress in Machakos as i was visiting home a few weeks ago and i could not wait to dress it up. There are countless ways to wear this dress and i will break it down for you as time goes by. I wore it simply just like a dress, buttoned it up and added a gold collar necklace to spruce up the outfit I added a pop of color with the tangerine tassel earrings and held my hair up in a side pony and roped it up. Finished it off with these bronze peep toe ankle boots from chinese laundry with ruffles and carried a brown leather bag

On my previous post 'DRESSING FOR THE COLD PART1, I illustrated how you can wear your sweater with a long skirt. Well, this post is about the sweater and your denim jeans Am not really fun of denim jeans but well you can always add some fun to them. I rolled up the ankles and wore this black ankle brogues to add some ruggedness and edgy to the outfit. I like this turquoise sweater (I know i know.... am obsessed with turquoise) I can't help it. I made it a high low since the jeans are high waisted. This time i went with color to accessorise the sweater unlike my last post where i had bling on. I got this floral scarf and a lesso bow and a orange ring. little pops of color that add a difference. The colored bangles and the earrings with a chain tassel. Then finally this white croc skin purse that i have been ignoring it for a while in my closet.
Its been really hot of late so yesterday i decided to pull a very relaxed summer look. I pulled out this sleeveless cropped denim shirt with two tails at the front meant for tying. I paired it up with this green sheer maxi, i decide to give an ooomph to it so i cut the slit high up to my knees I reallly love this multicolored lesso head scarf and i tied a bow to it then my favorite kitenge earrings of all time from Bridgets collection. Finished it off with these fuschia slingbacks and the black straw basket. CLOSET:

I have been doing lots of girly looks lately so this day, i decided to get in touch with my eclectic side of style. Its a look i have done before sometime last year when the boyfriend trousers were so in trend.... but well...fashion is timeless. Lets get to the dish on my outfit. Am not really a denim jeans girl....i own like 3 pairs, this one was a gift from my cousin who got it from Italy its a united colors of benetton brand. She didn't know what to do with it and i was glad to show her how to wear it. As is the case with boyfriend jeans, i rolled them up to form a cuff upto my ankles and they should fit through the hips and thighs. Since my jeans were a lil' snug, i went for an oversize classic white boyfriend shirt....then i rolled them sleeves up to give a more relaxed yet feminine feeling away from the masculinity of the whole oufit. I added a Moschino belt to give a touch of casualness to the jeans, then a pop of color with my Aldo hot pink pumps and finished it off with a vintage black chain bag i got from my mums 80's closet. Take a look i accessorised the bag with a pinch of scarf and tied to form a bow on it. I went for a Janelle monae hairstyle and rolled my braids to a turban like style
