My weekend was quite a flurry of activities. On Saturday my bestie decided to drag me to the National Museums, I was reluctant at first since I had planned to sleep in but finally decided oh what the hell.....and it happened to be one of the best decisions ever....we had so much fun, it was just amazeballs.
Nairobi has been super cold lately and in the museum it was worse...freezing....so I went for a tiny black dress with a polka trench coat on top with the hope of catching a few drinks later with my buddies....well it didn't happen....was sooo tired to care. The yellow pumps were so comfortable and the heel was ideal for walking around.
I loved the pictures in gray scale....it sought of went along with the museum ancient theme
My girls...loved their outfits especially the red dress, the pink shoe and the fuschia blouse with the belt.
Notice the faux fur scarf match with the lion...
On Sunday, we had planned to go visit this children's home in Ruiru....we always go back to check how they doing and just spend time with these kids...they always just amazing and we always have a ball everytime we go there.
I wore very simple but with pops of color and boyfriend flatties with straps
We did a painting for the kids with everyone doing a signature thing....I went for a heart
Yvonne....a lil very sweet angel
That's it for now.....my weekend in pictures....thanks for visiting!
What do sheers, denim, bows and animal print have in common...you would ask....well, this post is the answer. I got on a lil bit of everything I love. A combination of playful cuteness and edginess defines this outfit and today I will let the pictures tell the story. The chained bow is a DIY....Whats your take....lemmie know what you think below!
Happy new week my good people, My name is Maureen and I am obsessed with stripes....I seriously cannot keep my hands off. I have blogged about these pants before here
and this time round I decided to combine it with neon accents.
A simple luminous green blouse seemed to be my perfect choice...then I added little pops of neon pink with the earrings and the heart shaped purse
Finished it off with these cobalt blue platforms with the matching bib necklace and my lovely animal print geeks and a red bold lip.

Hallo fashionettes, Is it cold or cold....whaaat! I feel like I have frost fingers as I write this. What a way to start the week but oh well....its inevitable. I wore this outfit one of those rare sunny days we have been blessed with, so do not think am in Miami or something....Am very much in niarobi.
I love this skirt....I do not wear it much but the few times I do...i make sure I make a statement out of the outfit. I decided to do a little matchy matchy on it by adding a touch of gold to black.
I'm obsessed with neon blue polish.... sigh
Finished it off with these distressed gold peep toes and voila! that was my midas touch.
